Hi everyone.  First, let me say thank you so much to all of my supporters that helped make this possible, and thank you everyone for reading my blog!

 

I am the creator, writer, and photographer of my blog, Tales of a Gluten Free Baker.  My original plan actually wasn’t to make all of the recipes on my blog gluten free, until my little sister, Bella, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease.  Celiac Disease is a digestive and autoimmune disorder that causes you to have to go on a completely gluten free diet to avoid damaging your small intestines.  So, I decided to make it gluten free because I wanted to support her and inspire others.  Then soon later I was diagnosed too, but being gluten free doesn’t stop me from creating amazing dishes!

 

I am in eighth grade, and I live in Michigan with my mom, dad, little sister, and two cats.  When I’m not baking or doing homework, I like to dance and play volleyball.  I am a competitive dancer on my studio’s senior team, and I do lyrical, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and production.  As for volleyball, I have been playing since second grade, and I am on our school team for the second year of junior high.  

 

Traveling is another one of my favorite things to do.  I love to explore new places, especially if it’s somewhere tropical or somewhere I can put up a tent and roast s’mores! (Spoiler alert- there will be many s’more recipes.)
